Harvey Schultz

Harvey Dale Schultz, 87, of Fort Collins died Saturday morning, Sept. 29, 2007. Hewas born May 7, 1920, to Henry Schultz and Minnie Johnke Schultzin Chugwater, Wyo. Harvey moved with his family to Fort Collins when he was a young boy. On July 31, 1941, he married Mary Laumann in Nebraska.He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After World War II he returned to the Fort Collins area where he joined the Carpenter's and Millwrights Union. He was a contractor and built many homes in Fort Collins. He was a member of theAmerican Legion "George Beach"Post 4 of Fort Collinsfor 56 years, and also was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1781 of Fort Collins. He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends. Survivorsare his wife Mary Schultz of Fort Collins; a daughter, Linda Tyler and her husband Michael Tyler, of Ault. His parents and a brother Marlin "Tuffy" Schultz are deceased.
