Harry Ellsworth Lemmon

Harry Ellsworth Lemmon, 78, of Fort Collins, died January 10, 2011. Mr. Lemmon was born June 16, 1932 in Cambridge, Nebraska to Raymond and Louise Lemmon. Harry married Marian Weers on January 16, 1955 in Fort Collins. Mr. Lemmon moved here from Rapid City, South Dakota and has lived in Fort Collins since January 1971. He loved gardening, being a handyman, and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his wife, Marian; sons, Darrell Alan Lemmon of Holyoke, Colorado, Ronald Kent Lemmon of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Steven Greg Lemmon of Greeley, Colorado; daughter, Cheryl Ann Boltz of Greeley; sisters, Rosalie Critchley of Napa, California, Alice Toppin of Beverly, Massachusetts, Donna Lewis of Broomfield, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Nadine Hisam and family, Carol Wallace, Betty Eggleston; brothers-in-law, Harold and Ronald Weers; and seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Preceding Harry in death are his parents; and brother, James Lemmon. A Private Graveside Service with Military Honors by the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
