Harry Burton Hunter was born April 23, 1918, and passed away May 13, 2008. In loving memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle who taught us unconditional love, patience, kindness, compassion and love of the outdoors. Family and fishing were his passions. He never met a stranger. Anyone who met him liked him. Burt's family consists of his wife, Arletta of 62 years; son, Harry and wife Connie; daughter, Pat and husband Roy Stage; and daughter, Nancy and husband John Borges. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one soon to be born, and many extended family members who hold him dear in their hearts. Burt graduated from Cache La Poudre High School in 1936 and went on to dairy farm in the Fort Collins area. He then worked as a glazier in Denver, retiring in 1983. Although he lived in Denver and Tucson, he always considered Fort Collins his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at his son's home, 2902 Zachary Drive, Loveland. Please feel free to come and celebrate the wonderful 90 years of Burt's life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Larimer County.
