We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Harold Joseph Santistevan, on March 30, 2024 at the age of 75.
Harold was born December 7, 1948 in Walsenburg, Colorado to August and Ceria (Martinez) Santistevan. At an early age, he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. Harold served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973 and the Army Reserves from 1973 to 1977. Harold reunited with the love of his life, Gina, in 2004.
Harold had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing with his step-grandson Trenton, hunting, riding his motorcycle across the states, and camping with his wife, Gina. He also appreciated spending time with his family and friends from the VFW and American Legion and to taking daily drives to view Colorado wildlife.
He is survived by his wife Gina; son Brian Santistevan and wife Lyanne and their children Caleb and Ruby; beloved nephew Darren Santistevan and wife Vanessa and their children Elena and Matthew; stepsons Anthony Jimenez and wife Karen, Charlie Jimenez and wife Cami; stepdaughters Michelle Jimenez and Melissa Jimenez-Fields; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law Jan Santistevan; cousins and countless friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, August "Henry" and Warren Santistevan and his cousin Claudie Santistevan.
A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will held from 11:00 to 4:00 pm at the Fort Collins VFW, 603 Lesser Dr, Fort Collins, CO 80524, on Friday, April 5.
