Harmona Fern Kechter

Harmona Fern Kechter, 78, of Fort Collins, died February 26, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Kechter was born September 5, 1935 in Kearney, Nebraska to Roland and Opal Baker Hedges. Harmona was married to Thomas Sutherland, David Bowels, Joe Danos, and Robert Kechter. Mrs. Kechter loved volunteering for Volunteers of America and coordinating the activities of Oakbrook One. She enjoyed sewing, making baby blankets and crafts. She loved her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Mike Elizabeth Sutherland of Fort Collins, Robert Danos Kechter of California; step-daughters, Cherrie Manke of Fort Collins, Judy Linsenmeyer of Denver, Debbie Danos of Denver; sister, Ianthia Ann Peterson of Longmont, and eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding Harmona are her daughters, Lynn Sutherland and Janet Bowles; brother, Johnny; and sisters, Juanita, Alma and Mary. A Memorial Service will be held at Foothills Assembly of God, 305 W. Swallow on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Larimer County Humane Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft.
