Gwendolyn Licko

Gwendolyn Ann Licko, 58, of Fort Collins, died June 1, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Licko was born Dec. 8, 1948 in Altadena, Calif., to Stewart Fox and Mary Kay Snair Fox. She graduated from high school in Riverside, Calif. Gwen attended and graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California in 1971 with B.A. in Teaching. She was a Human Resources Consultant at Poudre Valley Hospital for the past 12 years. Gwen received the employee of the year award from Poudre Valley Hospital in 1999. Survivors include her husband, Robert Licko of Fort Collins; her parents, Stewart and Kay Fox of Oceanside, Calif.; two sisters, Carolyn Williams of Oceanside, Calif. and Lynnda Blonden of Encinitas, Calif.; two grandsons, Saje and Levn Camirand; a stepson, Steve Licko of Colorado Springs; a stepdaughter, Cindy Hoppe of Amana, Iowa; and five stepgrandsons. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Camirand. Gwen loved her dear friends from high school days, Marcia of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Laura of Riverside, Calif., her many friends and coworkers at Poudre Valley Hospital, and her loving community of friends at the Covenant Church in Fort Collins. Her hobbies were hiking in her beloved Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Wyoming, camping with her family and friends, skiing, travel and spending time with her grandkids. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Evangelical Covenant Church, 4825 S. Lemay Ave. Pastor Tom Glossi will officiate at the service.
