Guadalupe "Lupe" Rodrigo Hernandez, 20, of Fort Collins, passed over suddenly, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in Lexington, Nebraska due to a car accident. He was born in Pasco, Washington on December 12, 1990. Lupe had the biggest heart and lived with the upmost respect for everyone. His big beautiful smile would bring joy to anyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed working hard; strived to be independent, and successful. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and enjoyed being an uncle. He loved music, dancing, writing his thoughts into poems, movies, being an "evil canevil" and spending his time with loved ones. He is loved by many and he will live through us in our hearts and memories. In the words of Lupe Hernandez: "Never hold a grudge against anyone because you will never know when your life or another's life may end for all it takes for someone to be gone is the blink of an eye…" Lupe is survived by his parents, Jose Luis and Estrellita Gordillo; foster parents, Randy and Mary Caner; grandparents, Joseph Martinez and Angelita Mercado; his fiancé, Taylor Godberson; sisters, Blue Sky, Jasmine, Areli; brothers, Angel, Jonathan, Victor; nieces, Autumn Sky, Elena; nephews, Damian, Leonardo; uncles, Moonshadow, Pedro, Robert; aunts, Sunshine, Rainbow, Little Cloud, Primavera, Jackie, Precious, Lagrima and many cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
