Gretchen Lucille Honick, 72, of Fort Collins, died September 18, 2015 at a local nursing home.
Gretchen was born October 6, 1942 in Buffalo, New York to Frederick and Mildred Teigler.
Gretchen married Donald Honick on November 30, 1963 in Buffalo, New York. They were married for 52 years.
Gretchen enjoyed bowling and playing softball with her daughter, knitting, reading and travel.
Survivors include her husband, Don; children, Dan Honick (Lynne) of Arizona, Lynne Lechman (Vaughn) of Greeley; and Steve Honick (Amy) of Fort Collins; brother, Frederick Teigler of Pennsylvania; sister, Karen Horst (Mike) of Utah; and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Travis, Kassidy, Justin, Cole and Riley; nephew and niece, Dr. Jeff Teigler and Sarah Teigler.
Preceding Gretchen in death are her father and mother; and sister in law, Dee (Fred's wife).
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday Shepherd of the Hills, 1200 S Taft Hill Rd
Memorial contributions can be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church or Bohlender Funeral Chapel in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
