Grace A. Roetker

Grace A. Roetker, 85, passed away on October 26, 2011 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Born in Center, Colorado on February 21, 1926 she was a true Colorado native. She graduated from Center High School and Colorado State College of Education University of Northern Colorado with a degree in education, teaching commercial subjects at Yuma Union High School in Yuma, Colorado for four years. She accepted a position with the Colorado Agricultural and Mechanical College Colorado State University until she retired in 1984. She was an accomplished pianist, organist, and vocalist for St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Her survivors are her sister: Blanche; nieces and nephews: Tom and Judy, Patty, Lynda, Janet and Bill, Mike, Bill and Deb, Kevin, Tim, and Mark; her grand nieces and nephews: Duff, Bryan, Janelyn, Matt, Chris, Amy, Jennifer, Jamie, Janna, and Jill; her great grand nieces and nephews: Kylie, Cooper, Nate, Hannah, Kaiden, Becklyn, Boston, and Gavin. Private memorial and burial services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.
