Grace M. Brown

Grace M. Brown of Fort Collins Colorado passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord at the age of 87 on June 21, 2014 at her home, with loved ones at her side. She was the daughter of Marshall and Minnie Dyer Nix; wife of Charles Chuck K. Brown; mother of Carol J. Richard Ron and Kenneth J. Brown Sandy. Chuck and Grace were married September 14, 1944 in Fort Collins. They were able to celebrate 66 years of marriage to each other before losing Chuck in 2010. Grace is survived by her two children, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Morlock, Maxine Tamlin Richard, Bernice Brewer and one brother, Eugene Nix. Preceded in death were her parents, two brothers, Willard Nix and Leonard Nix. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to have, she will be missed by all who were fortunate to have her in their lives. She will be missed every day. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorial contribution may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
