Gordon Paul Burke

Gordon P Burke (Topper) passed away peacefully at his home in Ft. Collins, CO on August 19, 2024. Topper was born on December 4, 1944, in Massachusetts. Topper served his country in the United States Air Force and worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. Topper was a friend to all, always had a story to tell, was generous, had a heart of gold and loved his country! He is survived by his wife (Bride), Beverly Nordstrom Burke, daughter Debbie Niedergerke, son-in-law Thom, Grandchildren Mikel and Johan of Denver, CO and many other cherished family members and friends.
A private interment with military honors was held on August 29, 2024, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
Celebration of Topper's Life will be held on September 6, 2024, 1pm – 5pm at the VFW Post 1781, 602 Lesser Drive, Ft. Collins.
