Glendolyn Glenny Fry, 82, died Feb. 25, 2007 at North Shore Hospice Care Unit to a life-long battle of diabetes. She was born Feb. 12, 1925 in the town of Bellvue to Arby and Muriel Burgess. She was united in marriage to Floyd Fry on Feb. 3, 1941, in Sydney, Neb. Glenny worked as an aerospace technician for Boeing Inc. in Anaheim, Calif., before taking early retirement. Glenny and Floyd pursued the self-employed life at Columbine Lodge in Poudre Canyon for 27 years. Glenny was a kind and warm-hearted woman who always would think of others before herself. Glenny enjoyed fishing, dancing, singing cooking and being with her grandkids. Glenny is survived by her son, Marty Fry of California; two grandsons whom she raised, Scott Fry of Nunn and Sean Fry of Fort Collins; five other grandchildren, Richie Fry of California, Tylar Fry of Fort Collins, Meghan Fry of Missouri and Vada and Stephanie Fry of California; and three great-grand children, Trisha and Kaylee Fry of California and Jennifer Fry of Nunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Floyd Fry and Gilbert Whitlock, and three sons, Ronnie, Richard, and Michael Fry. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins, Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
