Glenn Arden Hull, 88, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007. He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Winfield, Kans., to the Rev. Ernest and Nona Hull. He graduated from Southwestern College at Winfield, Kan., with a degree in chemistry and did graduate studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He worked as a research chemist for Corn Products Co., making many patented discoveries. He married Helen Maureen Gunckel on April 11, 1942. Glenn lived in Tulsa, Okla., 1940-1945, and Oak Park, Ill., 1945-1979, where he was an active member of the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church. Glenn was a devoted family man and dedicated Christian. He had a wonderful sense of humor, made instant friends with the people he met. He loved music, sports, fishing, chess and his mountain life in Poudre Canyon to which they retired in 1979. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Helen, of Fort Collins; two daughters, Margaret Sharon "Sheri" Tateyama, and Glenda Helen Keller; four grandchildren, Dr. Gary Tateyama, Tanya Tateyama, Kelli Keller Marrs, and Wendy Keller Walrod; and five great-grandchildren, Jaime Lea Hill, Collin and Sydney Marrs, Stanley and Meryl Walrod; brother Donovan Hull of Winston-Salem, N.C., and sister Donna Hull of Paris, France. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Community Church, 1725 W. Mulberry in Fort Collins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preston Ranch Ministries and Immanuel Community Church in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
