Glenn F. Cox, 78, of Windsor, formerly of the Arvada/Lakewood, Colorado area passed away at home November 17, 2009. Mr. Cox was a Kansas farm boy, born April 30, 1931 in Ashland, Kansas to Herman J. and Eva B. Cox. He came to faith at an early age, most recently attending Timberline Church. Glenn was married to his high school sweetheart, Iris York, on November 30, 1952 in Ashland, Kansas and they enjoyed 57 years together. They retired to Arizona in 1992, returning to the Colorado area in 2007. Mr. Cox worked for the Adolph Coors Company for 30 years. Glenn was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and was an active member of the PRIDE Group in Sun City West, Arizona. He was a talented handyman and enjoyed "fixing" and creating. Glenn enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. He was happiest when surrounded by his wife and family. He will be most remembered for his humor, honesty, and integrity. Survivors include his wife, Iris; two daughters, Dianne Decker of Castle Rock, Colorado; and Donna Haggard Kent of Fort Collins, Colorado; four grandchildren, Kristin and Katie Decker of Kansas City, Missouri, Sara Levi McAllister, Kylie Haggard all of Fort Collins; one great-grandchild, Tanner McAllister; and two brothers. Preceding Glenn in death are his parents, and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 10:30a.m., at Timberline Church, South Auditorium. A reception will follow in the East Auditorium.
