Gladys Jane Warr, 81, was born on March 2nd, 1945, and has returned to join the lord and her family in heaven on May 19th, 2026. Gladys was born in Somerville, New Jersey and has lived in numerous states before settling in Fort Collins, Colorado to be closer to her family. Gladys had joy for gardening, hiking, skiing, traveling, and quality time with her family. Gladys’ warm, caring, and compassionate soul will be missed dearly.
Gladys’ primary job was mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, but that didn’t diminish the various professional accomplishments she achieved. She achieved a college degree while juggling being a single mother to Roger, Wendy, and Brett. She worked many years as a CLS in hospital settings.
Gladys is survived by her sisters, Judy Faber and Beverly Fleming; children, Wendy (Scott) Hoffecker and Brett (Hilda) Warr; grandchildren, Auburn Warr, Mikayla Warr, and Adeline Glass; and great-grandchildren, Savannah Warr and Channing Warr. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Gertrude Flemming, her partner Robert Nelson, her eldest son Roger Warr Jr., and her granddaughter Erin Warr.
The family will be holding a celebration of life for Gladys on Saturday, June 13th at 10am. It will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover St., Fort Collins, Colorado. The family asks that if you are wishing to send flowers, please send them to First United Methodist Church, the day of celebration.
We will meet you by the river.
