George Fox

George E. Fox, 71, of Broomfield, Colorado, died November 26, 2007 at Collier Hospice Center, Lutheran Hospital, Wheatridge, Colorado. Mr. Fox was born November 17, 1936 in Greeley, Colorado to Carl E. Fox and Luella L. Hughes. George was raised in Denver and was a graduate of Manuel High School in 1954. He was a supervisor for Bar-S Foods for 44 years. George was a member of the Denver El Jebel Shriners, the Classics interbody and was a 32nd degree Mason with the Blue Lodge Masons. George married Judy M. Gaede Fox on December 7, 1958 in Greeley, Colorado. Survivors include his wife, Judy M. Fox of Broomfield; a son, Dana L. Fox of Ft. Collins; one brother, James D. Fox of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Carol A. Kortekaas of Broomfield, Colorado; and two grandchildren Jessica L. and Trevor J. Fox both of Fort Collins. Preceding George in death are his parents. A Funeral Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 510 South 27th Street, in Brighton, Colorado, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Service will include Rose Croix service from the Scottish Rite Masons and Lodge Memorial Service by the Master Masons. A graveside service will be held, 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, Colorado. Rev. Lynn Vahle will officiate at the services.
