Gary Alan Keller, 83, of Shelby, OH resided in Fort Collins, CO since early 2023, and passed on October 31, 2024, with his wife and daughter at his side. He and his loving wife moved to be closer to their daughter and family.
Gary was born on September 2, 1941, to Lyle and Pauline Keller in Bucyrus, OH. Gary graduated from Shelby Senior High School in 1960. He went on to study at Bowling Green State University and worked for Ohio Steel Tube, now ArcellarMittal, for fifty years filling various roles in sales and product management.
In 1961, Gary met Janet Keller and they were married for fifty nine years. They shared skiing, traveling, boating and lots of laughs with good friends and family. He and Janet have one daughter, Jennifer Keller DeRaad of Fort Collins, CO.
Gary enjoyed meeting the guys for breakfast, hunting, fishing, cars, going to the beach, spending time outdoors, and with his family.
Gary was predeceased by Barb Lederer(sister), Pauline and Lyle Keller(parents), and Ryan Keller (stillborn son). He is survived by wife, Janet, daughter, Jennifer Keller DeRaad (Gary), and grandaughters, Grace and Claire DeRaad
A celebration of life will be held at a future date in Shelby, OH. As Gary prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others, the family asks that you do the same - go out and do something that brings you real joy and share it with those around you, or fond memories you've had with Gary.
