Gary Lee Freitag

Gary Freitag went to be with the Lord on December 31st, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1948 to Nioma Stark in Brighton, Colorado. Gary grew up in Brighton and Greeley before moving to Fort Collins where he graduated from Poudre High School where he helped with plays and concerts. He spent a lot of his youth helping family on their farms, He worked as a janitor for Poudre R1 for 32 years before retiring as a supervisor. He made many friends and always had a story to tell. He is preceded in death by his sister Sharon Freeburg; his sister and survived by his mother (Nioma Stark) and many nieces and nephews so love him dearly.

A funeral service will be held 1pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 305 E. Elizabeth St. Private interment, Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
