Gale Dean Murphy

Gale Dean Murphy, 76, of LaPorte, went home to his Heavenly Father on April 15, 2014. Gale was born December 7, 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado. Gale graduated from Central High School, in Pueblo, Colorado and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He had a career at CSU as Chief Research Technician, and after retiring from CSU, enjoyed his job at Quest Diagnostic, working as a courier. Gale married the love of his life, Stephanie Ann Graham in Pueblo on March 24, 1959. He had many interests, including: wood working, photography, restoring antiques, and genealogy to name a few! He enjoyed playing Ragtime Music, and Hymns on the piano, being outside, and spending time with his family. He dedicated his life to The Lord, and had a passion for teaching others about the love of Christ, and salvation. Gale is survived by his wife of 55 years, Stephanie; his three grown children, Kevin Murphy Carmen, Judith Pearson, Tim Murphy Jennifer; and his five grandchildren, Christopher, Kailyn, Taiylor, Maranda, and Timothy. A celebration of his life with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April, 21 2014 at Meadowlark Church of Christ, 2810 Meadowlark Avenue.
