Gail Anne Haile (Robillard) was born October 3, 1933 to Eleanor and Ernest F. Robillard in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Nursing in 1954. She met her husband James when he was stationed in Rhode Island in the United States Navy and were married in December 1954. They were married for 66 years until his death in 2021.
Gail and Jim lived in Grand Island, Nebraska where she worked as an RN for the Veterans and Lutheran Hospitals until they moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1974. She then worked at Bergan Mercy and Alegent hospital until retirement. She loved her career and helping people.
She was involved in many activities and clubs, but she was happiest cheering on the Huskers at Nebraska football games. They had season tickets and never missed a home game and even attended many away games with her in-laws Ruby and Jim Haile.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband James Haile, her parents Eleanor and Ernest Robillard, her brothers Ernest (Sonny) Robillard and Danny Robillard, sisters Olive Lello, Audrey Fobes, Eileen Jutras, and granddaughter Megan Elizabeth Leinweber.
Gail is survived by her daughter Cynthia, granddaughter Kimberly Jardine (Matthew), grandson Alexander Leinweber (Alyssa), great grandsons Owen and Oliver Jardine and great granddaughter Harper Leinweber.
