Freeman Chambers, 84, died at the Hospice Unit in McKee Medical Hospital in Loveland on Jan. 3, 2008. He was born in Colwell, Iowa, moving to Fort Collins in 1965. Freeman was the son of Raymond and Sarah Chambers. He had seven brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Della; Victor, Vancil and his wife, Gay; Valerie and her husband, Steve; also five grandchildren, Jeremy, Kristopher, Matthew, Joshua and Jessica. Freeman worked as a carpenter; he was also employed by Woodward Governor. He is a Navy veteran serving during World War II. In lieu of flowers, a gift of any amount to the Larimer County Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
