Fred Allen Bailey

Fred Allen Bailey, 77, of Laporte, passed away May 24, 2011. Mr. Bailey was born May 7, 1934 in Fort Collins to John D. and Rissia T. �Peterson� Bailey. Mr. Bailey lived in the Laporte area all his life. He served in the Navy as a aircraft engine mechanic from 1953 � 1957 and the Reserves from 1957 � 1961. He retired from Lone Star Steel in Fort Collins. He enjoyed fly fishing and restoring cars. Survivors include his sons, Mike Julie and Allen all of Fort Collins; sister, Faye Holmes of Laporte; and two grandchildren, Erin and Brinton. Preceding Fred in death are his son, Robert; and sister, Donna Rae Smith. A Graveside Service will be held at Grandview Cemetery, on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Paul McGraw will officiate the service.
