Francis Joseph O'Boyle, 80, died Nov. 17, 2008 in Fort Collins. Mr. O'Boyle was born Jan. 18, 1928 in Rochester, N. Y. to John and Mary O'Boyle. Frank served in the United States Army in Japan. He married Betty Moore on Sept. 17, 1949 in Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester. Frank and Betty moved to Fort Collins in 1976 from Rochester. He worked as a Quality Engineer for 39 years at Eastman Kodak, retiring in 1983. He belonged to Fort Collins and Eaton Country Clubs. Frank enjoyed travel and golf, going for many years to Jeckyll Island, Georgia and Green Valley, Ariz. Survivors include his wife, Betty O'Boyle; four sons, Thomas O'Boyle and his wife, Patricia of Dallas, Robert O'Boyle and his wife, Ruth of Rochester, John O'Boyle and his wife, Tracy of Fort Collins, and Craig O'Boyle of Atlanta; a brother, Alexander O'Boyle of Rochester, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Preceding Frank in death are his parents; a brother, Harry; and two sisters, Kathleen and Mattie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Father Jacob Chennathu will officiate at the service. A visitation will be held, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
