Frances Swan

Frances Swan, 90, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008, at the Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud. Frances was born in Sigourney, Iowa, and lived most of her life in the Des Moines, Iowa, area and later in Longmont. She was retired from the Burlington Northwestern Railroad and was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in West Des Moines, Iowa. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; and dear friend, George Regan, her companion later in life. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Kelsay; grandchildren, Troy Kelsay Danielle, Stephanie Campbell Todd and Rodney Kelsay Kimberley; three great-grandchildren, Emily Campbell, Quintin and Bailey Kelsay; and by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. March 17 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont. Inurnment will be in Des Moines, Iowa, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may made be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
