Frances H. Greffenius

Frances H. Greffenius, 93, of Fort Collins, died October 24, 2009 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Greffenius was born November 30, 1915 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Dick B. Cornelius and Clara Wilhelmina Most Cornelius. Frances was a homemaker; she loved to garden, cook and travel across the USA and to various other countries. Survivors include her son, James Greffenius of El Paso, Texas; her daughter, Bonnie L. Daly of Fort Collins; her brother, Chancey Cornelius of Ogallela, Nebraska; four grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter, and 2 great-grandsons. Preceding Frances in death were her parents; her husband, Rino A. Greffenius; and an infant daughter, Kaye Marlene Greffenius. A Graveside Service will be held at Grandview Cemetery, on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
