Florence Gerlock

Florence L. Gerlock, 79, of Fort Collins, died May 28, 2005, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Gerlock was born April 30, 1926, in Fort Collins to Daniel Schaefer and Amelia Mekling Schaefer. Florence married George Gerlock, Jr. on September 13, 1952, in Fort Collins. She lived most of her life in Fort Collins and was a laundry supervisor at Poudre Valley Hospital for 20 years. Mrs. Gerlock is survived by her daughters, Nancy Johnson, Judy Anderson, Kathy Lowrie and Georgia Gerlock; a brother, Richard Schaefer; four sisters, Esther Schilling, Elladean Townsend, Shirley Dodge and Beverly Walters; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Alvin and Ray Schaefer; and two sisters, Betty Minch and Delores Schaefer. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery.
