Fidel Gonzales, 85, of Glendale AZ was called to rest on Monday, February 2, 2015.
Fidel was born on April 24, 1929 in Mesilla Park, New Mexico to Francisco and Juana Gonzales. Fidel moved to Fort Collins with his family in 1960 and worked at varies farms and later worked for the Poudre School District until he moved to Arizona.
Fidel was a responsible, hardworking man, who loved his family. He loved to take his family on Sunday drives, work on cars, dance, and shop the Flea Markets.
Fidel was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Juana; his wife, Rosie Marie Gonzales; his brothers, Amado, Tranquelino, and Angel Gonzales.
Fidel is survived by his first wife, Maria Gonzales and their children; Fidel Gonzales Jr., Juanita Flores, Victoria Gonzales, Frances Lujan, Virginia Lujan, Santiago Gonzales, Jose Gonzales, and Yolanda Busse all from Colorado. Fidel had 26 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, Fort Collins, CO.
