Fern Mcgregor

Grace "Fern" McGregor, 98, died June 26, 2005, at Wellington Assisted Living surrounded by her family. Born Dec. 15, 1906, in Gleneyre, Fern spent all of her life in the Larimer County area. She married "Doc" McGregor July 10, 1926, and they were married for 56 years. They loved to go dancing and she loved to watch "Doc" ride at all the local rodeos. She was a homemaker, a mother and a grandmother. She loved her friends, baseball, westerns and making afghans for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Shirlie Moen and husband, Forrest; son, Paddy McGregor and wife, Delores; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, her husband and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Fern McGregor Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
