Faye Orr

Faye Irene Orr, 80, of Fort Collins, died Sept. 14, 2007, at her residence. Faye was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Bellvue to Chester A. Orr and Muriel Stillion Orr. She lived all her life in the Fort Collins area. Faye had a marvelous ability in music and spent many hours playing the piano. She enjoyed having someone sing with her as she played. Her memory was unbelievable and she could play practically anything if you just mentioned any song by name, or if you hummed the tune, she could play the song. Faye was never able to speak but could communicate in her own way. Survivors include her brother, Howard K. Orr of Fort Collins; sisters, Ada Shields of Loveland and Virginia Maxwell of Grand Junction; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Faye in death are her parents and sister, Mary Sautter. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
