Evelyn Little

Evelyn L. Little, 88, of Fort Collins, died Dec. 16, 2007, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Little was born Nov. 11, 1919, in Exira, Iowa, to Earl Marks and Esther Martin Marks. She moved from Missouri to Fort Collins in 1936. Evelyn married Orville Wilt on Sept. 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1957. She then married her second husband, Walter Gene Little, on Feb. 25, 1959, in Greeley. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2000. She is also preceded in death by a son, Orville Wilt, a daughter Donna Rae Wilt, and a sister, Lois Boyer. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. Evelyn enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her two sons, Harold "Butch" Wilt and Robert Little, both of Fort Collins; daughters, Betty Wagner of Denver, Marie Gibbens of Fort Collins and Dianne Hillman of South Carolina; a sister, Alma Boyer of Fort Collins; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery. Mr. W. Donald Fike will officiate at the service. Friends may send condolences to the family at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
