Eva Elizabeth Paquette Wilson, 89, of Fort Collins, died Feb. 2, 2009 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Wilson was born Sept. 8, 1919 in Chicago, Ill. to Arthur Paquette and Ruth Moss Paquette. Eve graduated from Bowen High School, Chicago, in 1938 and married her husband of 52 years, Robert Wilson, on Sept. 4, 1938 in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1990. Eva lived the past 19 years in Fort Collins. She had previously lived in Marble Falls, Texas, Lansing and Chicago, Ill. She was a department store manager and interior decorator. Before his death she and her husband, Bob, owned and operated a peach orchard in Marble Falls, Texas. Eva was an officer in many organizations, including, Junior Women's Club in Lansing, Ill., Garden Club and Extension Homemakers in Marble Falls, and enjoyed various church activities. She will be remembered for her loving ways and her ability for finding happiness and thankfulness in the midst of adversity. Survivors include her son, Donald Wilson and his wife, Juanita of Camden, Tenn.; a daughter, Nancy Wilson Doron Roath and her husband Roy of Fort Collins; seven grandchildren, Joe, Neil, Ian and Steve Wilson, and Shawna Doron Sands, Christopher Robert Doron and Amy Doron Arnold, and 16 great grandchildren. Preceding Eva in death are also her two brothers, Arthur Junior and Kenneth Paquette. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
