Eugene "Gene" Allen Clark 77 of Ft. Collins, CO passed away Monday May 11, 2020 at Ft Collins Health Center. Gene was born on October 7, 1942 in Denver CO to George W Clark and Alice B (Oaks) Clark. Gene graduated from Thornton high school in 1960. He attended Sterling College for 1 year. He then enlisted into the Navy in August of 1961, where he served 4 yrs + 2 yrs reserves.
While stationed in Pensacola, Florida, Gene met Sara O Herring and they married in October of 1962.
Gene loved the outdoors/Mountains. His hobbies included camping, fishing, hunting and baseball/softball.
Gene worked for IBM for 25 + years. After retiring he, his wife, grandson and daughter moved to Alabama in October of 2007. Gene's love for the mountains brought him back to Colorado in 2013.
He is survived by his son Allen Clark (Elsie) of Colorado, his daughter Karen Clark of Colorado, his grandson Joshua Clark of Colorado, his sister Toni Walton (Kevin) of Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sara Clark 2011 and his parents George and Alice Clark.
