Passing peacefully on Monday February 5, 2024, Scott Mucklow, 54, has entered a new life.
Scott was born on July 19, 1969, in Fort Collins, Colorado to Gary and Marceen Mucklow.
At the age of 17, Scott was paralyzed from the chest down. This changed his view of the world, now from a seated position in a wheelchair, but didn't change how he viewed life. He embraced every day. Those steel grey/blue eyes could look into your soul and remind you that no matter the situation, you were blessed (words from cousin Jolene).
From an early age Scott became a loyal Raider fan, through and through. He got a lot of grief about it, but he bled black and silver, with tattoos to prove it.
He was a car guy. Loved Corvettes, enjoyed going to Corvette shows, and won many trophies with the QUAD ROD, a 1985 C4 Chevy Corvette.
Scott was always up for an adventure and loved road trips over the years. Most recently, he'd take trips to Cheyenne with his friend Jerry for pizza, or to Denver for a Chili Dog from Wienerschnitzel.
He was a true animal lover. His house was always full of pets. He leaves behind his beloved dog Kato, Jerry the cat, and constant companion Raina, the African Grey parrot. They are lost without him.
For numerous years, Scott was cared for by Bob Clark and his daughter Hayden; Laura Dart and her children Derek and Rebecca; Kristi Ferguson and her children Kayci and Lorenzo; Colton Call; and Brett Stiefken.
Scott is survived by his niece Jayde Mucklow; his pride and joy, great nephew Maximus Keating, who once told Scott his was his Superhero; and numerous family across the U.S.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, and brother Barry.
Laura and Bob request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to NOCO Humane of Loveland Colorado in Scott's name at
