Emma Koehler, 90, formerly of Fort Collins, died Oct. 15, 2005 at Wellington Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Koehler was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Sterling to John Kiel and Amelia Roth Kiel. Emma married Victor Koehler, and they moved to Fort Collins in 1956 from Crook. She was a homemaker who loved playing cards, ceramics, crocheting and cooking. Mrs. Koehler is survived by her two sons, Jim Koehler, of Wellington, Robert Koehler, of Sharon Springs, Kan.; a daughter, Nancy Hain, of Boise, Idaho; three brothers, Dave, Solomon, and Herman Kiel, all of Greeley; a sister, Esther Rosenbach, of Fort Collins; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and one son, Jerry Koehler. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
