Emma Hilderman, 88, of Wellington, died Sept. 12, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Hilderman was born May 10, 1917, in Fort Collins to John Wiedeman and Eva Knauss Wiedeman. Emma married Harry E. Hilderman on Dec. 19, 1942, in Fort Collins. She lived all of her life in Fort Collins and Wellington. Emma farmed with her husband in Wellington and owned a liquor store in Wellington and Fort Collins for several years. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and enjoyed cooking German food, gardening, roses and all flowers. Mrs. Hilderman is survived by her son, Lyle Hilderman and Laureen, of Wellington; a daughter, Darlene Sigward and Don, of Fort Collins; three grandchildren, Troy Hilderman and Terry, Ty Hilderman and Jolene, and Misty Sigward; and two great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jaden Novak-Hilderman. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 12 brothers and sisters, including her twin sister, Rachel Troudt. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1200 S. Taft Hill Rd. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Emma from noon to 5 p.m. today at Bohlender Funeral Chapel Memorial contributions can be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
