Elva L. Basden, born, Sept 1, 1919, in Wisconsin to parents, Bill and Maude Adams. Elva died after a year of illness and strong will, she was received by her family and the Lord on Oct 6th. She was a homemaker and a gardener. In her early years she always worked very hard in the family business, the first being Adams Restaurant and Flame, and the Adam's Dairy and Ice Cream Parlor, in Rawlins Wyo. In 1975, the family moved to Steamboat, to help care for an estate that her brother, Bob, had while owning Energy Fuels Coal Mine. She was very devoted to her family, and loved gardening. Her love for her grandson, Marshall her partner in mischief and her granddaughter, Jamie was her passion for all the years she lived. She was able to come home with us for her care before meeting the Lord. It was a very special and peaceful time for all of us. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Eddie Basden; her parents; and brothers, Bob, Joe Adams, Joseph Faragher and Joe Frances; her sister, Elizabeth Sister Mary Cassian. She is survived by her daughter, Tammie; many nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Friends may send condolences to the family at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
