Elsie Bowman

Elsie E. Bowman, 86, of Fort Collins, died July 6, 2008, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Bowman was born March 29, 1922, in Fort Collins to George Ochsner and Bertha Koons Ochsner. Elsie married Jack P. Bowman on Jan. 21, 1944, in Fort Collins. Elsie lived all her life in Fort Collins and was a buyer for the C.S.U. Bookstore for many years. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Preceding Elsie in death is her husband. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Jim Rasmussen will officiate the service.
