Elma Irene Stull, age 91, of Fort Collins, Colorado went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2020. Elma was born in 1929, one of six children, to Ernest and Caroline Keller. Having been raised during the Great Depression she gained a deep love of family and an appreciation for conserving available resources. She graduated from Palco (Kansas) high school in 1947, and was proud to say she was the first in her family to do so.
Elma married Rex Stull in 1949, and the couple soon grew into a family of five. In 1960 Elma and Rex, along with daughters, Vickie, Glenda and Sharon moved to Fort Collins. She worked for the City of Fort Collins Lights and Power department for 30 years, retiring in 1991. Elma remained deeply rooted in Fort Collins, the city she loved, until her passing.
Elma enjoyed an active life filled with her beloved family and friends. She enjoyed going to the health club, water aerobics class, meeting with friends for coffee, square dancing, line dancing, traveling, going to her grandchildren's school activities, doing her Bible Studies, reading, and going to church. Elma was an active member of the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. Until the very end Elma was full of life. She had a heart of gold and a true desire to do for others. Elma is very loved and will be greatly missed.
Elma is survived by her sisters, Isabell Towns, Frieda Sutor, Marilyn Wise (Vance), daughters; Vickie Golden, Glenda Gregor (Richard), Sharon Altenburg (Willie); grandchildren, Kimberly Tipsword, Mindy Golden, Stacey Schwindt, Nathan Schwindt, Melaine Blake (Brian), Shalene Bird (Andrew), Jared Jaques (Tiffany) and Ryan Jaques (Jessica), many beloved Great-grandchildren and two Great great grandchildren.
Elma was preceded in death by both her parents, brother, Don Keller, her husband, D. Rex Stull; her long-time companion and dance partner Howard Anderson; sister, Adlene Boswell; grandsons, Robert Ahlborn and Rex Smith.

The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Reception to follow after the service.
