Elizabeth D. Miller passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 28, 2008. Liz struggled with epilepsy, which eventually took her life. She was 24 years old. Liz was a vibrant, beautiful lady who lit up the room with her smile. Liz's passion was working with youth ministries through her church. She passed into heaven in Fredricksburg, Texas, where she resided for the past year. She was a part of the youth staff at Fredricksburg United Methodist Church. Liz worked with youth groups in Colorado, Louisiana and Texas for the past eight years. Liz's influence and impact on the lives of young people will be felt for many years to come. Liz lived life to the fullest and never allowed anything to slow her down. Her life on Earth was far too short for her many friends and loved ones. She loved to have coffee with her friends and watch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets here in Fort Collins. Her smile and laughter will be remembered by all who loved her. Liz was survived by her parents, Jim and Suzanne Miller; and siblings, Alex, 23, Sarah, 22, and Ben, 20, all from Fort Collins. Liz also left behind her maternal grandparents, Eva and Fonza Sells of Haines City, Fla. She was also survived by hundreds of people around the country who called Liz friend. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road. Pastor Dary Northrop will officiate at the service.
