Elisabeth Murphy, (nee Kreppel) 74, of Fort Collins, CO passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2024. She was born on October 7th, 1950, in Austria to Katharina and Peter Kreppel.
Elisabeth immigrated with her family to the United States in 1952, eventually settling in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati, before getting her Masters at Stanford University. Elisabeth met her husband Herbert in California and the two moved to Colorado in 1979 to settle down and start a family. Elisabeth had a successful career in technology spanning over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, exploring the Rocky Mountains, visiting relatives in Ohio, and reconnecting with family in Europe. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Herbert, her two sons, Christopher (Chelsea) and Peter (Chantal), grandson Chase, sister Susanne (Nikolaus) Kalti, and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marie Bucher, brothers Lothar, Fredi, and Hansi.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an Alzheimer's charity of your choosing. The family would also like to thank the caring staff at Columbine West and Pathways Hospice
