Elijah passed away on Oct 6th 2022, at the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He was 27 yrs old. His passing was unexpected. Thankfully, during his final hours with us, Elijah was surrounded by loving family and friends. He is missed to a degree that words cannot convey.

While Elijah will be remembered for many things by the people lucky enough to have met him, his most remarkable trait was his capacity for loving others. Elijah's willingness to embrace those around him and offer all that he had to give was a defining characteristic of Elijah. To those lives Elijah touched, that selflessness was, and always will be, an inspiration. Elijah wasn't merely a thoughtful and giving person, he was creative and active in creative communities. That creativity and thoughtfulness weaved its way into every facet of his life. His legacy of music (EjProphet; Gallows Hill Productions; Cerberus Clique). His road trippin', "let's go camping!" adventurous spirit. His laughter and those moments he made us laugh, are moments we will cherish forever. And his genuine, heartfelt, warm hugs. After passing, Elijah continued to help others as he did in life. Through the organ donor program, he was able to offer four individuals a second chance.

Immediate family members include: His mom, Julie Cienfuegos (step dad, Jack); His dad, Jamie Altergott (step mom, Karen and sister Malina); His brother, Drew Cienfuegos; Grandparents, Jim and Sharon Altergott, Grandpa Joe Cienfuegos Jr (deceased) and Shirley McFerran (grandpa Allan); His aunt, Melissa Altergott.

Date and location for a memorial / life celebration of Elijah, for friends and family who wish to attend, will be shared via social media. It is yet TBD. For now, we grieve together, and ask only that you continue to keep a place in your heart for the gifted, caring, and loving man Elijah was." We Love You Elijah!
