Eleanor Gress

Eleanor McClain Gress, 80, passed away at home on July 25, 2005. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Matthew J. Gress; her sons, Mike and Steve; and granddaughters, LilliAnne, Kate, Molly and Tessa. Eleanor McClain Gress was born in Trinidad in 1924. She lived in Trinidad until World War II, where she was employed at the United States Army Depot in Pueblo. She moved to Los Alamos, N.M., where she was employed by the University of California, serving with the United States Atomic Energy Commission as a secretary. She was a licensed real estate agent and broker in Ohio and New Mexico. The family moved from Santa Fe, N.M., to Fort Collins in 1980, where she has resided since.
