Eldonna Marie Oakes

Eldonna Marie Oakes left us to join her husband, Ted on July 8, 2013. She was born in Phillipsburg, Kansas to Clarence and Hulda Wintersteen on September 15, 1940. She left Kansas in the early 50's for the Fort Collins area, where she worked and made her home. In 1988 she reconnected with her sweetheart from the 60's and they had 19 cherished years together. She loved dancing and listening to her country music and polka. She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Ralph Nielsen, Pamela Nick Troyan; grandchildren, Heide, Brent and Joshua; great grandchildren, Alex and Jackson. Eldonna was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Ted and her son, Michael. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
