Edwin A. Dahl

Edwin "Eddie" A. Dahl, Jr., 84 of Fort Collins, died peacefully at home on October 29, 2009. He was born near Bricelyn, Minnesota on January 28, 1925 to Edwin Alfred Dahl, Sr. and Hannah Olson Dahl. Eddie was survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol; daughter, Susan Steve Pruitt of Lyons, Becky Paul McGraw of Fort Collins; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Dahl was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Army in the Pacific Theater. He was then employed for 38 years at the CSU Physical Plant. One of Eddie's favorite activities was to laugh. His family wants to encourage you to think of Eddie today and laugh. Eddie deeply loved, enjoyed and treasured all of his family and through that love he was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. His love will live in our hearts forever. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, at 1:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Military Honors by the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard. A Reception will follow Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
