Edward Ross Arenson, 78, of Fort Collins, died April 8, 2008, at a local nursing home. Mr. Arenson was born July 22, 1929, in Kansas City, Mo., to Max and Ruth Arenson. He was raised in Kansas City and graduated from Northeast High School in 1946. Ed then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country in France and Germany from 1947 to 1949. He was the vice president of Playtex as well as U.S. Castor Corporation in Overland Park, Kan. He also was president of Ed Arenson & Associates in St. Louis, where he lived for 35 years. Five years ago Ed moved to Fort Collins. Throughout his life he loved playing golf. Ed had a great sense of humor and a very positive outlook on life, traits he passed on to his sons and two grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his sons, Tim Arenson of Fort Collins and Barry Arenson of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Richard Arenson of St. Louis and Larry Arenson of Hawaii; a sister, Donna Orchard of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle Arenson of Fort Collins.
