Eddie practiced law in northern Colorado and Denver for 46 years. During his career, Eddie practiced law with the highest regard for the rule of law. Eddie was admired for the humanity that he brought to the practice of law. Eddie embodied decency, thoughtfulness and kindness when he practiced law.

Eddie wanted to be known as being the best father he could be for his children, and he was! Eddie was very proud that his son, Jordon, has chosen a career in law. Jordon is in his first year of law school at the University of Denver Law School. His daughter, Emily, has gifted Eddie with his first granddaughter, Everly. Eddie's daughter, Rhonda, has gifted Eddie with a grandson, Caleb.

One cannot talk about Eddie's life without talking about his passion for music and his God given talent for playing the saxophone. Eddie studied at a very early age, the clarinet and saxophone. He was also self-taught on the piano, organ, guitar and he loved to sing. Eddie was performing at an early age, beginning in groups/bands as early as the 8th grade. He was a member of countless bands and music groups throughout his life. He played with many well known groups throughout Colorado. He was a co-founder of the band "After the Fire", a 15 member non-profit group dedicated to community service by performing pro-bono for charity events. His most recent group was the "Movers and Shakers" who performed at all of the celebrated venues throughout Colorado. Eddie developed strong bonds and relationships with everyone he played and interacted with during his life in music. In the music community, Eddie was considered a brother to all the musicians/artists that played with him. Eddie was given the name of Eddie "Silk" for his gift with the saxophone to play soulful, memorable rifts!

Eddie will always be remembered for his love and devotion to family, his love and loyalty to friends and his service to his community. We will miss and remember his gentle smile, his warm and reassuring touch and his God given gift with his saxophone to fill our hearts and souls with melodic memories.
