Edward Clayton Fleener, 81 of Loveland died October 8, 2015 at McKee Medical Center, Pathways Hospice Unit. Ed was born November 9, 1933 in Gibson City, Illinois to Willard and Marian Downs Fleener.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy in the 1950's. He married Thelma Wilder on September 5, 1971. Ed was a baker all of his life. He owned Gingerbread Cottage and Pine Center Bakeries in California. They then moved to Ft. Collins and owned several bakeries in Ft. Collins, and lastly Fleener's Bakery, Inc on W. Olive.
Survivors include his wife Thelma of Loveland; four children, Bobby, Debi, Nancy, and Valerie; one sister, Dottie; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard will provide full military honors.
Contributions may be made to Pathway's Hospice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
