Douglas Paul Burman, 53, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died on January 25, 2012 in a tragic accident. Doug was born on August 16, 1958, in Greeley, Colorado to Charles R. and Anna Lee Burman. Doug was a native of Northern Colorado. He spent his working career as a stationary engineer at UNC's heat plant. Doug loved his family above all things. He enjoyed camping, fishing, trap shooting, 4 wheeling, and frequent trips to Mexico. Doug loved spending time with his two grandsons, Cale and Jaxon. Doug was very mechanically inclined. He enjoyed welding and ran Burman Welding for many years. Doug had a great sense of humor and a big heart. Doug married his soul mate, Lana Burman on April 10, 1994.Together they blended their families and made many happy memories. Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lee Burman; brother, David Burman, and step-mother, Deana Burman. Doug is survived by his wife, children, Chadrick Burman of Fort Collins, Douglas Burman of Severance, Colorado, Britanny Williams and spouse, Cody of Fort Collins, Mark Moffitt of Fort Collins, grandsons, Cale Burman and Jaxon Williams, and father, Charles Burman of Ault. Doug's life will be remembered at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
