Dorothy J. Davis

Dorothy J. Davis, 90, of Ft. Collins died April 6, 2014 at a local nursing home. Dorothy was born June 17, 1923 in Pierce, Colorado to Charles Reed and Mabel Hitchcock Reed. They moved to Ft. Collins when Dorothy was six months old. She lived her entire life in Ft. Collins. Dorothy loved working with her hands. She loved arts and crafts. She also built her own home with her husband, Charles Davis. Survivors include her daughter, Laurie L. Davis of Ft. Collins, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and two children, Tracy Davis and Amy Thompson. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Thursday at 4 p.m.
