Dorothy Audrey Canning, 99, of Fort Collins, died February 3, 2011 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Canning was born September 18, 1911 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Frank and Ada More. Dorothy was married to her first husband, Virgil M. Logsdon and then to her second husband, Joseph Canning both have preceded her in death. Mrs. Canning was a homemaker and co-owner of Logsdon Radio & Television Service. She had many other jobs throughout her life, most of which involved food preparation, an endeavor she loved. She always had a smile on her face and she was very devoted to her large family. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include her son, Adrian Lola Logsdon of Fort Collins; step daughter, Joan Roberts of Broomfield and Joan's daughters, Jackie and Lori; Pat Harold Rupert of Pueblo; brothers, Richard Nellie More of Stockton, CA and Tommy Dorothy More of Fairbanks, Alaska; sisters, Wilma Susmilch of Ault and Betty Arlo Deines of Fort Collins; three grandchildren, Todd Logsdon of West Hills, CA, Kelley Rusty Logsdon of Los Angeles CA, and Reagan Logsdon of Seattle, WA; two great-grandchildren, Brady Logsdon and Paris Logsdon both of West Hills, CA; cousins, Velma Reinhart of Riverside, CA and Audrey Caller of Rock Springs, WY; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Preceding Dorothy in death are her first husband, Virgil Logsdon and her second husband, Joseph Canning; brothers, Clifford Buster More and A. LaVergne More; sister, Iona Camilletti; and father and mother Frank and Ada More. The family would especially like to recognize her nephew, Jess Garza for his loving care for Dorothy in her later years. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
